Welcome Everyone

As a global community, we are experiencing a renaissance of sorts, as the past few years of isolation have led to many new modes and tools for communication – all borne from the necessity for connection. As we reemerge into a world that can often feel overwhelming and chaotic, clarity in Communication is more essential than ever. I am excited to celebrate the ways in which your work has illuminated a pathway toward a better and more-connected future.

This summer, I spent a lot of time getting to know our community and entrants, gathering plentiful constructive feedback from you along the way. As a result of these conversations, I am determined to make this season the most engaging platform available to properly honor your impactful work. This will happen via:

• A completely restructured and evolved set of Media Types & Categories to better reflect the myriad disciplines in which our Entrants work
• All-new Integrated Marketing & Experiences categories to ensure the continual recognizing of industry trends and emerging mediums
• Expanded Corporate Communications and Public Relations categories, centering our focus on great storytelling and compelling narratives
• A new cohort of esteemed Jurors who more accurately reflect the diversity and prestige of the work submitted by our Entrants each year. This will include Marketing and Communications experts from Amazon, Mailchimp, Superfly, Good Black Art and more
• More consistent and engaging content showcasing featured work by past winners and a series of interviews introducing our esteemed AIVA Panel Of Jurors

For those of you with whom I have not yet had the opportunity to speak, I am very much looking forward to hearing from you, and doing whatever I can to make the Communicator Awards best serve and honor all of the strong work you’ve produced this year.
