What’s your dream project?
Being able to design a whole marketing campaign for a college football team!
How do you unwind from work mode?
I like to ride motorcycles or go to the gym to relax.
What was your favorite music from the 90s?
Will Smith and his rapping days! Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It! LOL.
What has been the biggest change in office culture since you started your career?
Working from home is more widely accepted now. I prefer the hybrid method because I enjoy being able to sit across a table and converse with my colleagues. I do believe creativity is best when we can be in the same room, but I know a lot of people are moving towards virtual-only collaborations. Not saying it’s a bad thing, and I do enjoy working from home a few days a week, but I also like walking down the hall and chatting with my work family!
How do you stay up-to-date in your industry?
Lots of creative conferences! I find going to conferences and staying up to date on available resources keeps me fresh! I also get to meet new people and learn how they approach creative work and clients.
What’s one of the greatest challenges your industry is facing?
I think right now, the biggest challenge we are facing is AI/ChatGPT. It can be a great tool if used correctly, but it does have its challenges with Intellectual Property (IP). Also, I don’t want our industry to get lazy and think we can just go to a computer for all the answers. An additional challenge is how far we should use it versus trusting our own experience and knowledge.
